iPhone Application Bug: Apple Finally Fix Error On Its Smartphones

iPhone bug fixed
This weekend, many iOS users noticed a bug that prevented them from using applications installed on their smartphones. When trying to open these applications, the following message would appear:
"This application is no longer shared with you. To use it, you must purchase it from the App Store. "
Many media sources have reported that this problem is likely due to a bug in the family sharing feature of the operating system. And while waiting for a fix, it was recommended that affected users uninstall the app and then reinstall the app to make it work again. Trybeweb also noticed that on the App Store, many applications that were already up-to-date or that were recently installed were requesting an extra update.

Some users have reported that over 100 apps have been updated on their smartphones. And it is possible that these reinstallations of updates were made in order to make the applications functional again.

iPhone Application Bug Problem Solved!

Either way, the problem is now resolved. TechCrunch reports in an article published this week that Apple has confirmed that this bug has been resolved for all users who have been affected. But we still do not know, precisely, what triggered this dysfunction.

As a reminder, Apple recently released the iOS 13.5 update to its mobile operating system. This new version includes a feature that detects when the user is wearing a mask in order to automatically deactivate the Face ID facial recognition system.

iOS 13.5 also includes the new API which is offered by Apple and Google, and which is interoperable between iOS and Android, which will allow public health agencies to develop contact tracing systems based on Bluetooth technology.

However, European countries including Germany and France have decided to opt for a more centralized solution compared to the protocol which is offered by Apple and Google.
