Aliexpress Looking For Social Media Influencers To Partner

Alibaba, one of the few companies that can compete with Amazon when it comes to Worldwide recognition, understood the strength of influencers and brand promoters. 

The Chinese giant was the first to use the community of these individuals (influencers) to make global awareness about their products, and this helped them in pulling lots of sales from new and old customers.

Today, Alibaba crosses its borders and is poised to repeat this success on a global scale, now focusing on working with nearly a million influencers whether on TikTok, Twitter, or Instagram.

AliExpress, the company's marketplace for goods and services, has launched a social media call-in which states that the platform is looking for new persons with a rich identity on social networks in order to sign partnerships and sell products.

Aliconnect Partnership Program For Aliexpress Influencer

AliExpress Connect is the site dedicated to this purpose, it's primary objective is to get a strong base of one million influencers within 3 years. This year, the Chinese company is already attracting over 120,000 content creators, and we are just halfway in 2020.

AliExpress Connect is a matchmaking service, helping to match social media influencers with brands and marketers looking to create awareness for their products. 

After dominating Asia, Alibaba has set its sight on Europe to install its platform, more particularly in Russia, France, Spain, and in Poland.

The Chinese giant plans to replicate the success it has in mid-Europe. 

Aliexpress' operation manager, Yuan Yuan said;

"For AliExpress, social content is a way to diversify offers, but not to only generate revenue. The goal is to accumulate users, keep them, and encourage them to stay active."

Despite its very good results in pulling sales, the Chinese e-commerce platform earns very little money from transactions outside its borders. 

Now with the impacts of this coronavirus crisis, they have is a strong influx on all social networks and therefore Aliexpress wants to reinvent themselves in order to make the most of this new audience. 

Facebook, for example, launched its Shops service in advance, which allows online shopping directly from the platform.
